The Center for Cooperation and International Relations ( CCRI ) is a structure created within the scope of the Collaboration Protocol existing between the Instituto Superior de Ciências Educativas and the Instituto Superior de Ciências Educativas do Douro, both institutions of Polytechnic Higher Education and with the same Instituting Entity , Pedago.


The CCRI coordinates, monitors and supports the development of ISCE teaching internationalization initiatives within the scope of academic cooperation and mobility.


The Center for Cooperation and International Relations (CCRI) is a structure designed within the Cooperation Protocol between the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences (ISCE) and the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences – Douro, both of them Polytechnic Higher Education Institutions with the same founding body , Pedago.

The CCRI coordinates, supervises and supports the ISCE's internationalization of teaching processes in what concerns the cooperation and academic mobility.

The internationalization of ISCE has developed through:

  2. participation in international networks;
  3. promoting research projects in partnership with foreign institutions; promoting mobility programs for students, teachers, staff and researchers:

  1. Coordinate and support ISCE's national and international cooperation relations within the scope of the internationalization of teaching/cooperation and academic mobility;
  2. Establish contacts and play the role of interlocutor with the various national and foreign organizations within its scope of action;
  3. Promote, support, implement and monitor the mobility of national and foreign students, teachers and technicians;
  4. Establish the necessary contacts and collaboration with ISCE services to carry out its duties;
  5. Present itself as an updated information center based on documentation received from national and foreign higher education institutions and the European Community with regard mainly to community cooperation and academic mobility programs.
  6. Ensure the proper functioning of the European credit transfer system (ECTS) in relation to student mobility, thus providing support to coordinating teachers.

  1. Coordinate and support national and international cooperation relations in the areas of internationalization of teaching and cooperation as well as academic mobility;
  2. Establish contacts and operate as a partner for national and international institutions within its sphere of action;
  3. Promote, support, expand and supervise students, teachers, national and foreign technicians mobility;
  4. Establish, in coordination with the ISCE's services, the necessary contacts and cooperation to achieve its goals;
  5. Constitute an updated information center based on data from national and foreign higher education institutions, especially in what regards community programs for cooperation and academic mobility;
  6. Ensure the proper functioning of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) regarding students' mobility, thus providing support to the department coordinators;
