| PRESENTATION
The Professional Higher Technical Course in Sports and Adventure Tourism is based on solid technical training, which aims to design, plan, organize and monitor programs of sports and adventure tourism activities, guiding tourists autonomously. The graduate will therefore be a senior technical staff qualified to perform highly specialized functions, participating in the management and maintenance of facilities and equipment, from a technical and tourist perspective, in activities that fall within the respective area and level of specialization.
| MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Design, plan and organize Sports and Adventure Tourism programs, in specific technical areas, in natural environments or in facilities prepared for this purpose.
- Act in accordance with the standards and legislation applicable to this type of activities, promoting the safety and well-being of participants, taking into account risk management.
- Monitor and promote sports and adventure tourism activity programs, autonomously guiding participants and ensuring group management and compliance with safety rules.
- Promote responsible participation on the part of participants in activities, encouraging respect for natural heritage and tourist resources.
- Adequately manage the territory of application of sports and adventure tourism activities, framing activities within natural heritage and tourist resources.
- Develop strategic entrepreneurship and marketing plans in the area of sports and adventure tourism, adapting them to different market segments.
- Respect and enforce safety standards and rules during activities, intervening responsibly and using traumatology and first aid techniques when necessary.
- Master various techniques and modalities of sports and adventure tourism, ensuring the correct participation of groups and promoting health through sporting activities.
- Organize and manage sporting and adventure events, targeting them to specific audiences and respecting all phases of correct planning.
- Develop, plan and organize adapted sports programs taking into account groups with special needs, ensuring their integration in different modalities and their integration with the natural heritage and tourist resources.
- Plan and decide on marketing tools, using customer loyalty techniques.
- Manage the human resources necessary to carry out activities, supervising and coordinating work teams.
