New edition of Tourism and Hospitality International Journal
The 30th edition, vol. 18, no. 2 , a special edition of extended summaries submitted to Panel I – The Importance of the Gender Perspective in Tourism Development, at the II International Forum – Women and Tourism, a Minha Voz, of the scientific magazine Tourism and Hospitality International Journal, editorial project of the Department of Tourism at ISCE - Instituto Superior de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo, within the Institution's Research Center (ISCE-CI).
The magazine, born in 2013, which has had a new editorial team since the beginning of 2020, recently integrated the DOI (Digital Object Identifiers) identifier registration service and is concluding its application to indexers Scopus, ISI Web of Science, Capes, EBSCO, CABI and Dialnet. This publication's mission is to share knowledge and skills obtained from scientific and applied research in the areas of Tourism, Hotels and Restaurants, gradually bringing the community of researchers from the three areas closer together.
The magazine is published in digital format, with completely free access, every six months (September and March). It has an international Scientific Committee and an Advisory Editorial Committee made up of major global references in the field of tourism, such as Alfonso Vargas Sánchez, Chris Cooper, Dimitrios Buhalis, Eduardo Yázigi, John Fletcher, Jordi Tresserras Juan, Jorge Umbelino, José Álvarez García, José Ramón Cardona, Manuel Salgado, Mário Passos Ascenção, Miguel Moital, Luiz Moutinho, Pauline Sheldon, Richard Butler, Tomasz Napierała, Xerardo Pereiro among many others. Its international and multicultural scope allows the publication of texts in Portuguese, English and Spanish, accepting works from authors from any country that aim to contribute to a pertinent and useful discussion for the development of Tourism, Hospitality and Restaurants.
